A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS TO PROGRAMMES AT BUSITEMA UNIVERSITY FOR 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission:
a) To the Masters’ degree programmes for candidates with Degrees,
b) To Undergraduate degree programmes for candidates with Diplomas,
c) To Diploma Programmes for candidates with Certificates,
d) To Certificates in Higher Access Programmes for A-level candidates and

Admission Requirement
At least a diploma in any of the following health disciplines: Clinical Medicine and Community Health, Medical laboratory Technology / Science, Medical Radiography, Physiotherapy, Anaesthesia, Orthopaedic Technology, Dispensers/Pharmacy Technicians, Psychiatry Clinical Officers/Mental Health Clinical Officers, Nursing, E.N.T (Post Basic Diploma)Ophthalmology, Clinical Medicine and Other related relevant medical disciplines. In addition, applicants must have a relevant working experience of atleast one year

All candidates will apply online using the new AIMS system. Applicants MUST make a print out of the application form and attach certified copies of the transcript, certificate, diploma and degree; birth certificate, one(1) passport size photo to be submitted to any of the following centers: Busitema campus (25km from Tororo), Busitema University Liaison Office (Makerere University, Lincoln Flats, Room A2), Arapai Campus in Soroti, Namasagali Campus in Kamuli, Nagongera Campus in Tororo, Pallisa Campus (at Kalaki) in Pallisa & Mbale Campus (Mbale Regional Referral Hospital) not later than Monday, 30th March , 2020. All copies of academic transcripts must be certified by the awarding institutions and not Photocopies of Certified documents.
Fees Structure
NB: (i) Candidates who wish to apply for government sponsorship will in addition be required to download and fill the forms available on our website (ii) All Admitted Candidates will be responsible for verification of their Academic documents from awarding institution.
A non refundable application fee of UgX 50,000 for East Africans or UgX 75,000 for Non East African candidates will be paid by all applicants EXCEPT those of Bachelor of Medicine &Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Anaesthesia who will be required to pay a non refundable fee for the SPECIAL ENTRY EXAMINATION of UgX 150,000 for East Africans and UgX 225,000 for non East Africans

1. Applicants should access the institution’s Admission URL http://admissions.busitema.ac.ug
2. Signup using full name, e-mail and mobile no. Please, note that your name must be similar to the one on your supporting documents for your application to be considered.
3. A password will be sent to both your e-mail and mobile number.
4. The system will prompt you to change the password to the one you can easily remember.
5. To fill a form the applicant clicks on the apply now button displayed on the running scheme.
6. Obtain a payment advice slip by clicking on “Pay for the Form” button and get the reference which you will take to the bank.
(i) You are advised against submitting false information or forged documentations. Candidates who obtained results 7, 9, X, Y and Z at ‘O’ Level need not apply, since they do not meet the admission requirements. (ii) Students who are already registered on Busitema Programs are not ELIGIBLE to apply.

- Have the Uganda Certificate of Education with at least (five passes), or its equivalent and the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two (2) principal passes in

Or - Hold at least a Second Class or Credit Diploma from a recognized institution.

Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Duration of Programme: 1 Academic Year
Entry requirements for a Masters degree Programme
A Bachelors’ degree or postgraduate diploma from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Entry requirements for a DBA or PhD degree programme
Applicants must be holders of Master’s degree or any other related programs from a recognized University. Practitioner Experience: Applicants must have management experience of at least three years pre – or – post Masters.

Have the Uganda Certificate of Education with at least (five passes), or its equivalent and the
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two (2) principal passes in
prescribed subjects obtained at the same sitting.

ii. Payment of Non-refundable application fee of UGX.50,000/= for East Africans
and UGX.75,000/= for Non East Africans plus Bank charge of UGX.3,000/= to Stanbic
Bank or Centenary Bank.

a platform which enables you generate a Zeepay Reference Number.
Step 2. Fill in the form with details: Full name, Email address and Telephone Number THEN Click on the BLUE button to continue
Step 3. Select an appropriate Application fee on the fees menu by checking a box on the left hand side.
Step 4. Click on the continue button at the right hand bottom corner to generate a 13 digit reference number
Step 5. Proceed to either Stanbic Bank or Centenary Bank and present the reference generated to the bank to effect payment.
