The Higher Education Student Loans Board (HESLB), has stated that in the academic year 2021/2022 the government has allocated 500 billion shillings for higher education loans which is expected to benefit a total of 160,000 students.
The statement was issued today June 7, 2021, by HESLB CEO Abdul-Razaq Badru, stating that the loan application window for higher education students for the year 2021/2022 is expected to open in July this year and that before the opening of The HESLB application window will provide a loan application guide expected to be released on June 25 this year.
In addition, Badru said his office has completed all the preparations for the new academic season of 2021/2022 and urged students who need to use the available time to complete various loan application procedures.
