HESLB( Bodi ya Mikopo Tanzania) Allocate Loan For Students First Batch 2022/2023

The Higher Education Student Loans Board (HESLB) has announced a list of 47,305 students who will receive first phase loans. It said it expects to spend Sh150.03 billion to provide such loans for the academic year 2022/2023.

The list was released on Wednesday, November 11, 2022 by HESLB executive director Abdul-Razaq Badru about a week before the colleges reopened.

How HESLB allocate loan to applicants?

Not every applicants of HESLB loan will be allocated for loan where there some people will get and other will not allocated for loan from various reasons. But loan allocated for students who get University only. If you applied for Loan and you do not get College or university HESLB can not give you a loan until you get University for the academic year of 2022/2023.

When will HESLB release majina waliopata mkopo 2022/2023?

Official information on HESLB, including student loans, will be released from November 11, 2022 instead of 10th November 2022(Said So Via Instagram page View Here) through the Student’s Individual Permanent Account (SIPA)

Information will also be provided through the media, HESLB website (www.heslb.go.tz) and HESLB social networks which are twitter, instagram and facebook under the name ‘HESLB Tanzania’.

When you login in your account can be either located for loan on not, so the following below is how status show for both

• Students Get Loan Status

Congratulations, you have been allocated a loan. Remember this is a loan to be paid back, use it as intended.

• Student do not get loan Status

The analysis of your application is yet to be finalized. you are advised to visit your SIPA when subsquent loan batches are released

What to do if you are not located for loan..?

If you will not be succeed to get loan when names released don’t give up because there is a lot of students in Tanzania Universities study without HESLB loan. Thus have time to participate your parents and other relatives so as they can get prepared to take you University for their own cost.

But there will be HESLB appeal window  for those who didn’t not allocated for loan though have all qualifications or criteria. You can take this opportunity to appeal so as you can get allocated for loan.
