How do I get my Background Check?
At DiDi, SAFETY has always been our top priority.
To ensure the safety of our DiDi community, we now require all driver-partners (regardless of the original nationality) to pass a CRC (Criminal Record Check) to continue driving on our platform.
- If you signed up as our driver before Feb. 11th, 2022, you can do your CRC verification at your nearest Huru office:
Step 1. Visit your Nearest Huru office and have your fingerprints captured. See link for locations https://huru.co.za/national-capture-locations.;
Step 2. DiDi shall get your CRC result from Huru directly.
Step 3. Based on your CRC result, DiDi shall update your CRC status accordingly to our platform.
- If you sign up as our driver on and after Feb. 11th, 2022, you can choose either to have your fingerprints captured or upload your CRC via the driver app:
>If you don’t have a CRC on hand:
Step 1. Visit your Nearest Huru office and have your fingerprints captured. See link for locations https://huru.co.za/national-capture-locations.;
Step 2. DiDi shall get your CRC result from Huru directly.
Step 3. Based on your CRC result, DiDi shall update your CRC status accordingly to our platform.
>If you have your CRC on hand:
Step 1. Upload your CRC on hand (issued by any vendors in the past 6 months) via your driver app following the route: click on your profile picture > Account Settings > Documents.
Step 2. DiDi shall verify your uploaded CRC in 1-3 workdays.
