The Opportunity

Plan International is delivering it’s updated Global Strategy, ‘Girls Standing Strong’. As part of the Governance & Executive team, based at the Global Hub. In this role as the Incidents & Risk Officer you will manage, support and optimise the systems, processes and reporting around incident management across the organisation, as well as supporting broader risk management projects and crisis response activities

About you

In order to fulfil the requirements of this role we are looking for confident communicator who is able to create and maintain relationships with different types of people at all levels of our global organisation.

You will need to have a good understanding of systems, preferably a risk and incident management system, understanding of technical terms as well as proficiency in Excel.

Location: The location of this role can be flexible where Plan International has an office* that can employ on behalf of the Global Hub and you have the pre-existing right to work and live. If living in the UK we would encourage a day in the Global Hub Office in Woking at least once a week

Type of role: Permanent or maximum fixed term contract as per employing office’s standard terms and conditions.

Salary: We will be happy to disclose the salary and applicable benefits to applicants as part of this process, however, please kindly note that this will vary according to the location of the appointed candidate and therefore, it is not possible to include full details here

As an indication if this role was based in the UK the salary would be circa £34,000
