Roles & Responsibilities:
Health and Safety
Adherence to Stacking compliance
5S
Ensure adherence to site safety standards (ie, Traffic Flow)
PPE is worn at all times
Ensure stock availability
Accurate stock count- Stock balances are accurately recorded daily.
Communicate, investigate and resolve all stock variances
Stock outs are appropriately recorded and communication of stock out information to relevant Distribution and Sales staff occurs
Manage Breakages
Warehouse breakages procedures are controlled
Recover as much as possible
Returns from trade are sorted as per standard (Missing, Broken, quality issue)
Enhancing People Capability
Daily Logistics meeting
Self, individual and team performances are managed and evaluated

DPO/VPO Implementation
Ensure and maintain a safe warehouse operation driving awareness and compliance to all the relevant blocks.
Develop and maintain MCRS/MCL routines and track adherence thereof
Use problem solving tools such as 5Why, Abnormality Reports, SIC, OPL’s, RACI’s, OWD’s, PDCA’s etc. to develop action plans to show improvement in PI’s and KPI” s
Supervise Forklift Operations
Ensure the forklift is working and maintained
Forklift Misuse is managed
Pre-trip inspections before and afterFuel (gas or diesel) consumption of forklifts managed to standards
Stock Quality
Ensure Stock Rotation
Stock age analysis
Check Packaging of stock
Receiving Stock (Tier 1)
Tier 1 load plan printed and reviewed per shift
Physical check of stock against stock in the system is conducted
Appropriate actions to address variances are implemented
Syspro is procedurally updated
Turnaround times for primary distribution are measured and monitored.
Adhere to Brewery empty container plan
Dispatching Stock (Tier 2)
Allocate work to pickers to enable correct split
Loading of Correct quantities
Shipment status updated in SAP
Correct loading of returns on handheld
Efficient Loading and unloading of vehicles
Documentation to be accurately completed
Enhancing People Capability
Shift Handover meeting
Handovers are communicated effectively to ensure continuity
Self, individual and team performances are managed and evaluated

Requirements:
3 Year relevant diploma/degree in related field
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Teams, etc.)
Fluent in English and Swahili
Strong verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to adapt to change effectively
Results oriented
Excellent coaching capability
Ideally a relevant bachelor’s degree
Ideally in FMCG or beer/Spirit industry
Good knowledge of warehouse processes, costs, optimization solutions
Commercial competence
PC Literacy and relevant Syspro experience
